Do you want to become a host family?

Many families are willing to care for children that for one reason or another are not able to live with their biological family members. Often, these families do not have training or knowledge to be able to adequately care for children with emotional or psychological issues or medical special needs. As a result, many children with special care needs are not able to be placed into foster care or receive less than appropriate care.

A Child’s Embrace is able to assist in providing foster and potential foster families with training and educational materials that can enhance their ability to care for many of these children. Sometimes helping the family to acquire necessary medical supplies or equipment greatly improves the level of care a child receives, helps the child get to school or improves the child’s ability to care for him or herself.

While adoption is a simple idea, the process you as an adoptive parent must go through and the multitude of emotions that you will experience can be overwhelming. In providing educational and support services to families and adoption agencies, it is our goal to assist you in realizing your dream to become an adoptive parent.
